Right now, I'm going through my omg-more-fantasy! period. So here are my recomendations:

The Chronicles of the Elves - Jean-Louis Fetjaine
A trilogy reinventing the genesis of the arthurian legends, adding some celtic mythology references, elves, dwarves and a captivating story. A must read!

Berhnard Hennen - The Elves
Quite close to the common picture people have of elves (not talking about Santa elves here, mkay?). Could be rewritten here and there (just for aesthetic purposes), but not bad.
