So we all love that dear Machivi and his enormously good book on power corruption. Does power always corrupt? I think it does. What do you guys think? Power is always a good topic to talk about. Especially when you go into the is sex power or power sex thing. :3

I'm positive it always corrupt. Those that get to have the power are rarely strong enough to resist the temptation and keep the moral standards up (or whatever they've been preaching for until they got the power). Sadly, it's in the human nature I guess.

Well, having power but not being power-hungry, that is a mighty feat to accomplish as a person. Most people who have power go completely overboard with their ideas and morals.

I mean, come on, our dear Vladko pretty much had a righteouser-than-thou stick up his ass (I find the expression somehow ironic). I suppose he was a morally just guy, up until he got enough power to force said morals onto everybody and everything. I think he... over did it... just a little... here and there... you know? :3
